Dez Cordas

The short version

Dez Cordas collects nothing and sends nothing anywhere. The app has no account system, no analytics, no advertising and no network code at all. Every tuning, chord shape, article and piece of your own repertoire lives only on your device.

What the app stores, and where

Everything below is written only to your device's local storage. None of it is transmitted to us, to Apple, or to anyone else.

• Your repertoire (Repertório) — song titles, tuning, key, capo fret, rhythm and status you enter, kept in an on-device database.
• Roda notes and logs — the set you assemble for a roda and the note you write afterward, kept on-device.
• Pinned chords, medal progress, streaks and settings — kept in the app's local preferences.
• A songbook photo — only if you choose to attach one to a song from your camera or photo library, stored in the app's private storage on your device with file protection enabled. It is never uploaded.

Camera and photo library

Dez Cordas asks for camera or photo-library access only at the moment you choose to attach a picture of your own songbook page or chord notes to a song. The picture stays attached to that song on your device. If you decline, every other part of the app keeps working normally.

Notifications

The app can remind you an hour before a planned roda, or with a short daily practice nudge, if you turn either one on in Settings. Both are scheduled entirely on your device; permission is requested only when you enable a reminder, and turning it off cancels the notification immediately.

No tracking, no third parties

Dez Cordas does not use analytics, advertising or crash-reporting SDKs, does not build an advertising profile, and does not share information with data brokers or any other third party, because it collects none to share. There are no tracking domains and nothing is linked to your identity.

Data deletion

Because nothing leaves your device, deleting the app deletes everything Dez Cordas has stored about your use of it. The Settings screen also offers a reset that clears your repertoire, roda logs and progress without deleting the app.

Children's privacy

Dez Cordas does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect information from anyone at all.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted at this same address with an updated date at the top.
